This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, appointment changes, refunds, and non-attendance charges are handled for services booked through HSSE Solutions.

Any individual, business, landlord, contractor, property owner, organisation, or client who books services with us.
Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, compliance, consultancy, inspection, certification, training, assessment, and related professional services provided by HSSE Solutions.
A confirmed appointment, consultation, inspection, audit, assessment, training session, or service booking made with HSSE Solutions.
Monday to Friday, excluding public and bank holidays in England and Wales.
A booking is considered confirmed once payment has been received or written confirmation has been provided by HSSE Solutions.
Where payment has not been received, we reserve the right to postpone, amend, or cancel the booking.
Certain services may require full or partial payment in advance before work can commence.
Customers may cancel a booking by contacting us via email or telephone.
To avoid cancellation charges, cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment or service time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to an administration or attendance fee.
Customers may request to reschedule an appointment, inspection, consultation, or training session by contacting our team.
Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur an administration charge.
All rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
If our consultant, engineer, assessor, or representative attends the agreed location and the service cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our control, an attendance fee may apply.
Examples include:
No access to the premises
Incorrect address information supplied
Required personnel not present
Restricted site access
Health and safety concerns preventing work from proceeding
Utilities, documentation, or required information not being available
Delays caused by the customer, site management, or third parties
Any attendance fee reflects time, travel, operational, and administrative costs already incurred.
Where a refund is approved, payment will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the booking.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Refunds may be provided where:
A booking is cancelled in accordance with this policy
HSSE Solutions is unable to provide the agreed service
Duplicate payments have been made in error
A booking is cancelled by HSSE Solutions and no suitable alternative arrangement can be provided
Refunds are generally not available where:
A consultant or assessor has already attended the site
The service could not proceed due to customer-related issues
Access was not provided as agreed
Administrative, travel, accommodation, parking, or operational costs have already been incurred
In exceptional circumstances, HSSE Solutions may need to cancel or reschedule a booking due to factors beyond our reasonable control, including:
Staff illness or emergency absence
Severe weather conditions
Travel disruptions
Operational requirements
Site safety concerns
Events outside our reasonable control
Where possible, we will provide advance notice and offer an alternative appointment or service date.
If an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed, you may request a refund for any fees paid relating to the affected booking.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, quotations and booking fees cover only the services described in the confirmed booking.
Any additional consultancy, corrective actions, remedial works, training, inspections, reports, or services requested outside the original scope may be subject to additional charges.
Separate quotations may be provided where required.
